Review: The Maddox Brothers

The Maddox Brothers The Maddox Brothers by Lacey Wolfe
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Hudson Maddox real estate extraordinaire is doing a favor for his brother Liam. Getting the water turned on for a house Kennedy Harper is flipping. Hudson has done work for her father Hank and had just assumed Kennedy was a male. Heading to the house to let her know he is taking care of the problem. Kennedy is mothing like Maddox thought. Striking sparks off each other and not always good ones. Maddox has a problem with Kennedy's smart mouth and Kennedy has a big problem with Hudson's overbearing ways. Yet they can't stay away from one another.

Liam Maddox was in in love with Chelsea Sampson through high school until the day she said they were to young to marry and took off, never to look back. Now years later she is back in town and bought a house down the street from Liam. Needing renovation work, Liam's company is the last choice she wants to make. But the best and she knows she has to suck it up. Liam can do this. Work on Chelsea's house and not get involved again. She is in the past. HE has since moved on. Yet as they are thrown together again and again it is obvious something is still between them.

Two of my must read authors in one book. Life can't get much better. Neither brother is looking to give up being single. They both love playing the field. Kennedy isn't even Hudson's type. She is more a t-shirt, work boots kind of women. Kennedy isn't looking for a man, much less an ocd sexy hot millionaire. Love these characters. Kennedy is feisty, independent and knows what she wants. Liam is determined never to get his heart broke again. He just needs to get Chelsea out of his system once and for all. Chelsea knows she gave up the love of her life when she left all those years ago. Is this a second chance or is it just closure. I received an arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
