Book one of the Never Duet series
Kalli didn't do relationships. She had no problems sleeping with the men but she didn't want them staying around. When she gets a call for a job as a wardrobe manager for a video shoot she never thought how her life would change. When she meets Riot Bentley there is something about him that draws her in. Riot does everything possible to get close to Kalli. Because of her past Kalli keeps parts of her life separate even from her closest friends. She is raising her mentally challenged brother, that she keeps a secret. As she and Riot become closer she takes the chance to let him in her life. All parts of it.
I loved Kalli. She is a strong woman but the same time emotionally immature. She believes that men will never stay. Riot is one sexy man. He's sweet kind and willing to go at Kalli's speed. He just wants her. If it would be as a friend or a lover. Wonderful beginning to this new series. Can be read as a standalone. You actually meet Kalli in The Never Series as a friend of Ella and Megan. But beware there is one tear jerker of a cliffhanger. This book is full of emotional highs and lows. So keep the tissue box handy. Because you are definitely going to need them. I am hoping it isn't a long wait until the next book.
