Four Immortals are out to protect a village and their mining. Each immortal has a special power and they work together fluidly to save those that need their help. They all have some memory of their past when they were mortal and that is woven into the story. It helps you learn the characters and follow along with how they became immortal. This book is building up to the next in the series. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
