Review: His Perfect Bride

His Perfect Bride His Perfect Bride by Merry Farmer
My rating: 5 of 5 stars

Franklin Haskell figured he would never marry. What women wanted a crippled man. Besides after what he had done he didn't consider himself a good person. Charlie Garrett had the idea to find men for the women of Hurst Home , a place for women that were abused to live in Nashville to. All the single men in town and not many women. Why not find spouses for them and help the women at the same time. Corva Collier was abused by her uncle after the death of her parents. If it wasn't for Hurst Home she didn't know what would have happened to her. Given the chance to become a mail order bride all she cared about was if the man would treat her good. It was her chance to have a family.

This book is a stand alone, but a spin off from the Trail of Destiny series. Loved the characters. Franklin had changed in the years since his accident and I loved how he treated Corva. After all she had been through Corva was still a loving person and was determined to make the most of her opportunities. Wonderful storyline with lots of colorful characters. Looking forward to reading more in this series. I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
