Grant never believed in marriage or that whole their is one person out there for you. Yet at Jackson's and Faith's wedding something seemed to be missing from his life. For seventeen years Grant has had fantasies about Lacey. Even though they both went on with their lives and knowing he wouldn't have her. Lacey has always wanted Grant but he didn't believe in happy ever after and that is what she wanted. When they decide to spend one night together can it only be that or will both of them want more.
Grant lets you know how men feel. How he feels and he is determined to stay the course and never marry. I have to say Lacey aggravated me with how she acted with Rob. She has low self esteem and doesn't think she deserves any better. But to go to those extremes just so she could have what she thought would be her happy ending was a bit much at times. Other then that I enjoyed the story. Loved the hot, dirty talking sex scenes I received and arc of this book in exchange for an honest review.
