Lily and Zane have become best friends after he moved in with his brother Jared known as Tish.  Tish had rescued Lily, she is a little hard to get to know. She doesn't trust easily or want to discuss her past at all. Over time Lily and Zane have become each others wingman. Zane is a player that has no intention of getting involved in a relationship. His ex-wife really did a number on him. Not that she is letting up anytime soon. There was an attraction between Lily and Zane that neither one wanted to see where it would go.

   What an rollercoaster ride of a book. There is so much angst, heartbreak that at times you don't know if you are coming or going. I loved Lily she was a strong women yet at the same time so broken and on the path to destruction you had to feel for her. Zane I loved but also at times I hated him. How he turned on Lily, then he would back track with her. Confusing her and with her past it would just make her close up even more. So many twists and turn through the book to end with a cliff hanger. 

 

 

Unforgivably Broken (Book Two)

It took a near-tragedy for Zane and Lili to admit their feelings for one another. If they could survive that explosion, wading through the debris left behind should be a breeze, right?

Lili has spent years hiding from her past. Now, she's being forced to admit her mistakes and make a decision. Can she conquer her demons head-on, or will she remain by Zane's side while he fights his own?

Zane learned early in life that charm and deception are easier than hard truths. Sometimes, old habits die hard. When his past mistakes start making continuous reappearances, he is faced with some of the most crucial decisions he's ever made.

When you have secrets, they can rip ragged holes in the ties that bind even the strongest relationships.

Book two in the Broken Series. Lily's past is starting to catch up with her. Time to come clean with her friends and Zane  Zane still recovering from the gunshot is finding himself happy in his relationship with Lily. But his past is still haunting them. Don't want to say to much and give anything away.

  I couldn't wait to read this book after the cliffhanger in the first one. Lily is such a strong character. She finally steps up and wants to do the right thing and get on with her life. Zane, what kind I say. I just wanted to reach into the book and slap the crap out of him so many times. As a character I loved to hate him. He wants honesty with Lily but at times seems unable to be honest. The cliffhanger in this book is a major one and I can't wait to read the finally book. It is driving me crazy to not know how it end.

Broken Holidays (Book two and half)

This novella is listed as 2.5 in the Broken series but it is more of a prequel. It takes you into the lives of Lily and Zane and where they are coming from.  From the beginning of their friendship. You learn how Tish and Lily met. How their group of friends came to be. It shows how Zane struggled with his ex Lizzie and her relationship with Adam. His struggle to be a good father to Connor. Some seriously hot sex scenes. Well two to be swoon worthy. You get a lot more of Tony is this book. Excellent fill in while waiting for the final book.

Maegan despises writing about herself in the third person. She also hates touting her accomplishments like she thinks she’s really done anything special…

Now that we got that out of the way, I’ll tell you what you need to know. I was born and raised in Tulsa, Oklahoma. I went back to school in my late twenties and studied Stage Production Technology. I now work full-time in the alterations shop of a major department store and part-time backstage in the various theatres around the area.

I’ve been an avid reader from a very young age and the top goal on my list of things to accomplish in my life was to write and publish a book. During the summer of 2013, while working backstage on The Lion King, I read eleven books in four weeks. I read my first New Adult book and was introduced to a genre I felt I could totally relate to. The idea for Perfectly Broken and the character of Lili was born backstage during that time.
