Tasha Pike has scrimped and saved for two decades to be able to afford her dream vacation. A summer in a Victorian House on the beach. This has been her dream since she was ten years old. Finally the day has arrived and she is stunned to find someone already vacationing in the house. Spencer Ellis a famous Hollywood Star is the man that has taken her dream vacation away from her. After hearing her story while eavesdropping Spencer offers to share the house with her for the summer. The attraction between them is instant and even more so on Spencer's part. Tasha Doesn't treat him like a Hollywood star.
Loved the book. Simone and Tasha were both such complex characters. The sparks fly. Tasha ignores him she is on her dream vacation. Besides what is a Hollywood star going to see in a plain ole school teacher. Spencer is determined to get to know her. It becomes a battle of wills. Lots of great laugh out loud moments and some sad ones. Definite must read if you are looking for a well written romance.
