Charlotte is new to this shifter business. Being newly turned she still has problems controlling her wolf. Under stress or afraid she finds her self shifting if she wants to or not. Sheriff Kane Martin has known Charlotte for years. Why then all of a sudden does he feel attracted to her. He was never into curvy girls. Besides since being turned into a werewolf, he has given up his player ways. Kane wasn't sure if he could control his wolf during sex. Now Kane and Charlotte keep getting thrown together when danger lurks for the wolf population of Glen Vine.
Wonderful story. Loved the attraction between Charlotte and Kane. Charlotte knew she wasn't Kane's type, even though she has crushed on him for years. Kane finds himself protective over Charlotte and wanting so much more. Plenty of suspense and sexual tension. There is a lot to deal with for the newly bitten townsfolk. Can't wait for the next book in the series. I received an arc in exchange for an honest review.
