Cannon and suffers nightmares from his time in the military.  Killing time with meaningless women.  Cora didn't want be of  those women.  So instead they ended up just friends.  Cora has had a rough life.  With an abusive mother and a brother that's in prison.  She doesn't believe she will ever find someone to love her just for herself.  Can they go from friends to lovers?  With a psycho ex lay that is determined to cause as many problems as she can.  Cannon and Cora have had feelings for each other since they met.  Both of them were afraid to cross that line.
     Two broken in characters, both trying to get through life not only way they can.  There are many emotional moments and some moments that you want to smack both  them upside the head.  A path see something inside the other that is worth fighting for.  First they have to work through their own issues.  The story makes you cry and laugh and had some deep emotional times.  Keep you on the edge of your seat, with suspense and all the twists and turns.

K has been married to her very own country boy for 14 years. They live in the deep south with their two crazy kids and a speckled beagle named Sadie. K worked in property management for ten years. When she's not writing, you can find her nose stuck in a book or singing out loud to her favorite songs.

She has since released two follow up books, Until You're Mine and When You're Mine and is set to release the fourth book of the MINE series, Forever You're Mine on April 13, 2015.
